REPORT FOR JULY 25th RIC NATIONAL FORUM ABOUT RIC-EDINBURGH

SINCE THE RIC NATIONAL FORUM ON MAY 30th

RIC Edinburgh meetings

RIC Edinburgh has continued to meet fortnightly

June 8th - The EU Referendum, Allan Armstrong (RCN) and Donny Gluckstein (SWP), 15 people attended

June 22nd - The Scottish Service Tax, Calum Martin (SSP), 21 people attended

July 6th - Glasgow Homeless Careworkers, 14 people attended

July, 20th, Scottish Land Reform, Jenna Stout, Scottish Land Action Movement, 15 people attended

We now have 80 RIC card carrying members in Edinburgh.

Activities

Saturday, 20th June, participated with banner on the STUC's anti-austerity demonstration in Glasgow

Saturday, 4th July, on RIC organised demo in Edinburgh in support of the Greek people facing the Troika. About 300 people attended.

Tuesday evening, 7th July, RIC-Edinburgh organised 'Oxi to Osborne' demo. About 50 people attended.

Individual members have been involved in many other campaigns, particularly over cuts, Living Rent campaign, TTIP, women's rights and Palestine.
